When Should You Use Them?
In our opinion, in the web design world, stock images from sites such as Pexels, Shutterstock, Adobe Stock, Flickr, Pixabay, Getty Image, Crello, JumpStory and more are great for demos, presentations, and placeholders.
The images from these services are usually high quality, they are great resources and well suited for other purposes.
But here is the thing, these images are available to everyone.
These images are used so much that they become familiar.
These images may not give your website viewers that feeling of authentic.
Clients appreciate authenticity.
Authenticity is even more important for a service based company such as a Web Design company.
Potential clients want to see you and or your actual team in your actual work environment. Not posed images of models.
